Lisa Hearns is an acclaimed vocalist who has performed at legendary venues and festivals in Boston, New York City, and throughout New England. She can be seen in clubs in and around the New York tri-state area. Hearns leads several performance groups which include her jazz trio, quartet or larger groups. These groups feature Lisa's singing, and top professionals accompanying her on bass, piano, guitar, and drums or horns.

Hearns grew up in Massachusetts and is a graduate of the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston. She formed and led her own groups, playing in New York City and traveling throughout New England, performing together until September, 2001 when she moved to New York to continue her singing career. Hearns served as Berklee's New York Alumni Chapter President for many years, as well as a Trustee to Berklee’s Board of Trustees. She has several professional recordings including her jazz album produced by seven-time Grammy winning producer Elliot Scheiner.

Bringing a contemporary edge to jazz and blues classics, Hearns is known for her range and versatility, and describes herself as a "singer of songs" as a refusal to be pigeonholed into one genre. Critics have touted her vocals as “undeniably ghost-like - hers is a voice from the past with a respect for the establishment, yet she still finds a way to make it fresh and distinct."
